Yellow Power! Green foods and juices are all the rage right now, but don’t forget about the other colors. Brightly colored fruits and veggies get their hues from their nutrients– phytochemicals and antioxidants that protect us from cancer, heart disease, diabetes and more. Each antioxidant gives us a different health advantage. Try to vary your colors throughout the week— instead of picking up tomatoes, red peppers and raspberries all in one week, make an effort to make your grocery cart look more like a rainbow to get a wider variety of nutrients.
